So the flange can be tightened against the washer.
If you try to use the 2 more bottoms for the top, I don't knoe if they are the same length, or size?
not to mention, you will have to remove your tires to adjust the camber all the time. Because the top pillow ball has a adjusting nut on it.
If removing the front tires all the time to adjust your camber doesn't bother you, then buy 2 extra lower flanged pillow balls.
Also consider...
everytime you adjust the upper if you have a washer, you will have to totally remove the pillow ball and either add a shim or washer to keep the pillow ball flanged against it.
So, I guess all in all. It would be best and most simple, to just add the washer to the bottom, & so far know one has complained or adressed any issues for the upper...
just my thought on it..

Stick with stock. Pillowballs stay smooth a long time. Just make sure there is no binding.

No you can view them with apple device no problem download adobe reader from App Store if you don't have it and open the file in Adobe and you will get the proper setup sheet filled out as it should be not blank sheets. I was having the same problem a while ago and tried it then no more blank sheets

Download the adobe app from the app store, when you open the setup sheet in the browser a banner comes up saying "open with" tap that and select the adobe app
