Talent makes you successful for a short period of time.
Work can make you successful for a lifetime.

That was a lot of video for very little content.

maybe but it's good sometimes to emphasize aspects that can be overlooked
look how many threads are talking about cars and components and all that stuff compared to what really matters: the attitude of the drivers, the way they learn, how they share their knowledge..
I'd like to see subjects about mental skills, how to overcome your stress on the podium, fight against yourself rather than the other driver, etc.. Real world threads. To me this would make any r/c forum way more interesting. I actually posted a few topics about these questions but the part of hardware debates, what's the best X or Y is waaaaay bigger. Too big IMO
If you look at it closer your attitude or way of learning will determine who you are as a racer much more than the brand you are so proud to defend on a forum. It also determines who you are as a forum member and is key to provide authentic feedbacks & experience and not just repeat what you read.
This video is just a way to provide anyone the motivation to always work to become better, even if it can sound quite obvious for some of us

Well said Pulse. I enjoyed that video Jason even if what Silo said is technically true
#11
you forgot the one with the deeper pockets....
#12
not necessarily true in r/c racing
you could win the worlds with a stock chassis if you're a good driver
sure you'll need some backup to get there but if you're dedicated and talented and work hard there are no reason money could be such a major factor.. sponsors should then follow you
I'm not sure the best drivers come from particularly rich families in general, it's not F1
r/c racing is actually the most accessible motorsport
