Ryan Maifield quitting Associated for TLR ?
#152
Now the question is who if anyone is he taking with him. He has mentored a few young racers(Rivkin, Denney) come to mind. I think this is good for the hobby. I've heard the comment if so and so drove a ______ they would wax everyone. Now we get to see first hand with one of the BEST in the game today switching brands. Hats off to Maifield for his accomplishments with AE, on to the next chapter.

I'm not a TLR fan but they will be hard to beat with Ryan on the team as well. It hurts AE's team immensely.
Any chance he already has the kits built at home or will Drake build it for him and deliver them.

it most certainly can, but look at the bigger picture: normally these big changes take place after the worlds, in the off-season, so that there's time to adequately plan & build over the next 2 years for the other big, international event. When a team sh*tcans its engineer, dumps their prototype (which according to Aigoin was just a few months from production) and one of their star drivers doesn't renew his contract a few months before the worlds, the landscape change is a sink-hole opening up under AE.

wheres it say Alton was fired?

Kinda no difference than when Alton was with HB. Alton left then Robbers.
Doubt the ship is sinking however racing programs are getting small as are budgets.
