Hey dudes, i see the cvd's are universal. How do they hold up in comparsion to the ball in cup with pins like losi, serpent, and mugen?

Hey there sykemike the universals hold up extremely well very strong in my opinion this will be the perfect Buggy for a newbie not as aggressive as the Yellow and first version all round it's going to be a easy car to drive hope that helps you abit

you have no idea how good they are.. no maintenance, no play, no worries, 1 piece not a bunch of parts that fall apart and get used
they hold up a long long time, say at least 6 gallons, unless a factory issue would happen

Thanks for the reply. I'm assumeing the reciever battery goes up front. Will my serpent reciever batteries fit the jq? Part# ptk-lp-rx2600-s-2s from amain. I use all high voltage equipment.

Why not consider the reds engine same as the man himself. Good number of reds running at my comb and they are going well and looking good. Mot a bad price either. Other than that get an os speed

You can run most style hump packs in the front box or rear box with the 2013 Radio Tray. Its all about weight distribution. I personally run a 1600 mah hump pack myself in the front box and have it wrapped in foam and still had room. I also ran this battery on the old tray, I just had to space the front box lid with a couple washers to get the clearance I needed and ran the receiver in the rear box.
