I just order a NT-48, I see no setup for this truck on Tekno web site, everybody running box setup? I have a first batch ET-48 with bad shim ( never run it and replace with good ones) the NT-48 doesn't have the bad shims, does it? I have 3 new Fioroni adjustable clutch that I was running in my Eight-T 2.0 with Ofna style clutch bell, just hope It will clear the tank.

The old (good) shims are included in the kit. The incorrect shims are also in the kit, just don't use those.

If the clutches are the same length as the Losi clutch it should work.

The box setup is the best place to start. We will be developing and posting new setups soon. Thanks.

Just ordered my NT48 besides the fuel tank issues and shims, anything else I should be aware of during the build?

Can someone aware me as to exactly what is going on with the shims? Will the instructions cover the shim issue?

The correct shims are included with NT48. You'll see them when you open the package.

Yes I'm running engine forward I put an unboxing video on youtube, NT48 unboxing.

Also I mounted a FTW truggy body for MBX6t and it "fit" you might have to cut out the area for the front shocks and drill different holes for the towers but if you don't like the tekno body thats an option with modifications. I ran my nt48 last weekend and it ran great, cant wait to get back out to the track tomorrow, I'll try to get someone to record while I'm driving

I would say the biggest con is not having a split center diff, and the brake linkage isn't as easy to adjust as others.

Some pros would be high quality plastic and an awesome servo / rx tray.

Can you post pics of the FTW body mounted on your truggy.
