anyone have a durango 48t spur gear lying around they could see if it fits the tekno diff cup? I think the hole pattern is the same and would really like to test a different spur gear to see if it will better or if it is a chassis flex issue causing the teeth to break off.
Durango, Losi, Kyosho and Serpent spur gears don't fit. I've tried them. Serpent is the closest but the holes are still too far apart.

I said screw it and made my own.
its an Agama gear I welded the holes shut then tuned them down on a lathe the drilled new holes.
the diff lining is too large so I just used the gasket and gasket sealer and had ZERO leaks. which I found weird cause I would a very small amount on the stock spur.lol
raced it this weekend, won by 4 or 5 laps at G Force. gear held up fantastic!

Buggy is currently just as good. My buggy is actually the first one I have had that I do faster lap times than my truggy. And my truggy is badass!

Well I would not say I'm joining the party just yet. But i will be showing up fashionably late lol!!! The guys at tekno seem pretty confident that i will be faster with the NT48 compared to my evo. The limited time I get to see Mo's truck run it looks like a slot car. I'm not one of these guys who cares about THE NAME or which country something is made in. If its fast, durable fun to drive and easy to wrench on I will give it a try.
