Iv made the changes that y'all recommended to me on my 812 and it calmed the car down a ton . I'm running 5-5-2 with 37.5 front oil 35 rear with around half rebound and white spring suspension feel good in the car as far as jumping landing and cornering but it seems like its very easy to roll it over if not careful . Over a bump or maybe a sharp corner is this from to stiff of suspension ? Possibly the tires ? Roll center need to be moved closer to cg ? I was running on a blue groove high traction indoor track with bar codes maybe it was a traction bite causing the roll not sure

I saw it in the setup of Tessmann

Did use D8T hex wheels
I experienced as well how the D812 oversteers. I did some tweaks on the buggy by using D8T hex wheels on the rear of the D812 to add rear track-width to increase rear grip at corner entry as well as high-speed on-throttle steering. Here are some other changes I've made:
FRONT:
shock oil: 40 losi
Rebound: 25%
upper shock tower: #3
lower shock tower: #2
Suspension arm shock position: #2
Sway Bar: 2.2 mm
REAR:
shock oil: 27.5 losi
Rebound: 25%
upper shock tower: #2
lower shock tower: #1
Suspension arm shock position: #2
Sway Bar: 2.5 mm
DIFF OILS (used Mugen brand):
F: 5000 C: 3000 R: 2000
The rest of the set ups are on Ty's set up sheet on Dirt Nitro.
Since then, I was able to run the D812 harder than before.
I ran this setup at revelation raceway last Saturday for Summer series with great result

Hey guys I am looking to use the shocks off of the D812 for my buggy as they are correct lengths for my setup, my question is are the shocks the same as the hara buggy just different length bodies and shafts? Reason I ask if they are the same is I had a hara buggy and loved the shocks but I need the lengths that the D812 are. Can anyone let me know?
#2758
I am aware of the lengths that is why I posted that the length of the D812 shocks is what I am in need of but want to know if there are other differences I don't know about like taller caps or different bladders or seals or internal bore sizes. I never asked what lengths they were you answered my question the first time the same way but I don't think either time you actually read the question. I don't have a Hara as stated I used to have one and thought the shocks were the best I have worked with but the hara shocks are not long enough for my current buggy and the D812 shocks are the right length I just want to make sure the shocks are the same with the exception of the body lengths and shaft lengths. Please someone who has built both the hara shocks and D812 shocks can you confirm that the shocks are the same with exception of body and shaft lengths?

nice track! the conditions are very loose, slippery and bumpy. does it clean up on a race day and give better traction?
by the way... i would use alot more air filter oil than what you currently are, especially with those loose and dusty conditions. you should be oiling both parts of your filter liberally. dust particles are smaller than the holes in your air filter and dust will kill your engine very quickly!

interesting obversation nick. i would agree except i would have thought it was unavoidable since the track is so bumpy. are you saying it is possible to smooth that out some more? can you please explain a bit more what you are thinking?
thanks
