Mine is almost done. I stayed home this weekend to build rather then go race so I will be ready for next weekend.

I know Hot Bodies uses a 16mm shim behind the bearings. Hold the pinion in place and tighten the driveshaft and it's solid.

I did what you described as I came from a Hara and it worked fine, tore down after a gallon and all is good.

Are these kits supposed to come with wheels? It looks like the one the guy posted a link to in the f/s section did? I know mine did not.

Interregional Championship SUP 2013 Puglia and Basilicata Francesco Ciriello occurs in the last round of the Inter-SUP 2013 with the BR-6, without having had time for testing. After some initial difficulties due to the lack of "running" of the BR-6, Francis manages to find the right Set Up which leads him to play the final. In the final, lasting 45 minutes, Francis was penalized by its engine turned off and the pit stop remains in place for about two minutes. At the restart Francis appears to be in last place. With his skill and agility of the BR-6 Francis reached the fifth position, slows the pace to not further stress the engine began to give new signs of slowing down and runs until the end of the race, winning the title of Champion F1. The first comment after the race Francesco is as follows: "I am very happy for the title, I thank all my sponsors. I must say I very pleased with the buggy BR-6, to be honest I was not expecting a performance like that. This buggy has great potential, I believe that in the races to come I will have a lot of satisfaction. http://www.automodel.net/index.php/p...-20122013-r487 |

The USA kits do not include wheels. They are not ROAR legal - too large a diameter per ROAR rules.

Just wanted post about this past weekend
My Intech handled great as I expected no issues what so ever, buggy ran flawless, so nice when things good right and makes racing fun. I didnt have do much as far as set up only dealt with tires for most part. |
Hi everyone.. my LHS is planning to get the br6 soon.. im doing them a favour by getting infos on what spares /options to get for this kit. Sorry if my question has been posted and answered before..Your kind response is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I am not sure if I already posted this, but watch this video to learn how to build INTECH BR-6 shocks with the stock bladders:
You can make the foam compensators out of 1/8th tire foam (molded or closed cell). Drill a 1.5mm hole in the top of the cap, right under where the mounting nut will be sitting. If you do not drill the hole and use foam behind the bladder, the shocks will not be consistent in main events and the bladder can sometimes move out of place and cause the shocks to leak. Option #2: If you buy ITR600002-1 convex bladders, then you do not build them like the video and do not need to drill a 1.5mm hole in the top of the cap and do not need to use foam behind the bladder. Just put the bladder in the cap and screw on and use the bleed hole in the side of the cap as usual. Both methodes work good if done right. I prefer the convex bladders just because it is easier and less work, but according to Drake and others, venting the cap and using foam is better. |

Yes my first kit had that problem also. INTECH assured me that the issue has been resolved because they are milling the slot wider now.
If yours does rub, just take a dremel with a sanding wheel and grind it towards the middle some. On my first pre-production kit the front was rubbing. But I dremeled both the front and rear to be safe. It only takes a few minutes to fix. On some of the first chassis, they were just a hair too narrow. But if you use a diff shim on the cup side, they did not rub. I am almost done with my E-buggy and the ring gear slots on the chassis are much wider on the Ebuggy chassis, so they can not rub. I have been told that the nitro buggy chassis will be that way also in future kits. If you have an earlier chassis and can not fix it, please email us and we will take care of it. |
