Also looking for a new set up to try . I have always ran the car
5/5/5 f/m/r
Shocks outside hole on arms front / back
Middle hole on front shock tower
Front A arms in middle position
Back A arms shims in the front
Rear camber link lower hole on tower
Outside hole on hub
Using jq springs soft up front and mediums in back .
Any ideas out there for me to try?
i run 5-4-4 in my diffs, also i use cf arm stiffners to keep the arms from bending so fast and i also like them for handling. If you havnt yet you should try the vp pro progressive springs, i use pink fronts and red or orange rears depending on track. I also use rear shock shafts in the front shocks with a 3mm uptravel limiter. For shock location i use inside on front arms and outside on rear arms and upper top location on both towers. Lmk if you would like any more detail on anything.

Too bad for the ball link on the top. Werent these snapping on the HB ones? I wish they came out with the traditional style ones.....still looks very nice though.
Now how about some stock front 10 degree caster blocks in aluminum? steering knuckles?
I know the buggy does not NEED them but I hate when the threaded insert in the plastic knuckles strip and spin inside the plastic...cant get the screw out after that and always end up buying new knuckles AND caster blocks.

So first run today with the br-6. Great steering and jumps well. Rear seemed loose on exit on power sweepers or turns in power while continuing to turn. Good straight forward bite. I'll try lighter center diff. I'm 5-7-3
Arrow motor is fast but can't get a good tune, pretty sure there's an air leak and now thinking about it I think I saw random air bubbles in fuel line. Anyone else have issues with this tank? I even put in my os speed in, and it ran better then the arrow but still felt funky and never ran that way in the mbx.
Club racing tomorrow night at hot rod hobbies in SoCal

Get you a hot bodies D812 tank. Works great and fixes any tuning issues.

So the tank is suspect? I will order the d812 one, but do I need to order the internal clunk set?

Check your fuel filter o-ring, I had one a while back chasing a tune and I ended up dunking the fuel filter with lines blowing in one side, capping other in water and detected small bubbles around threaded cap. I ended up applying Racers Choice sealer or (Lucky7) to threads and retighten cap, let it cure some and retest.

Hope this helps

There are 2 leaks likely. First is the fuel filter. Use Teflon tape on the filter threads. 2nd, use Teflon tape on the 2 fuel nipples on the tank. That solved the leaks on mine.

Ok so the mugen mbx6 tank fits pretty good. I just used a tab to offset the rear mount about 4mm. Just read the intech tank is small and if I'm seeing air in the fuel line is pretty much useless. I show up to win or at least go fast. And would be very frustrated if I ran out of fuel or even worse could not tune my motor because an air leak. The local Guys know I can drive a shoe box, so if I look that bad, they know it's really bad. That's would be a embarrassing. So its 5-4-4 diffs and 32.5 and 37.5 oil. Should be cold tomorrow night.

No sir, the clunk is included with the tank. Cant beat a clunk style tank.
