The new VP-Pro USA Extended engine mount for the INTECH BR-6 buggy is now in stock.
http://www.vpprousa.com/components/c...to%2815%29.JPG Gene Hickerson and Ben Burtle have been testing this 4 piece motor mount all year and it has now been fine tuned and released, exclusively at VP-Pro USA. This 7075 mount stiffens the center of the BR-6 chassis, which prevents flame outs on hard landings and makes the clutch bell, spur gear, and bearings last much longer. |
First rd of the winter nitro series went ok, my car was dialed as always, so i just had to focus on getting fast consistant laps. This is the most competitive series, the first 15 spots in qualifing seperated by 15 seconds. I ended up 8th in the amain, i couldnt have asked for a better car, driver was just a bit rusty.

That happens Chris.

After a short break from the hobby, I was able to race at our annual championship race her in Hawaii. Turn out was smaller than usual but with just a few practice runs I found a decent set up on the BR6. After 2 rounds of qualifying, I ended in the number 2 spot for the A main on the following day. During the main, I had a miss communication with the pit man and ran out of fuel....LOL. They were able to fire it up again and I had to push the buggy hard to make up ground. At the end, I was able to take the 2nd spot in the A......The Intech felt awesome and I couldn't have asked for more.
Thanks Intech for an awesome buggy. |
Any news about the fueltank of the BR-6? Some people in this thread have measured its volume and it runs a bit small. Any plans on an updated (bigger) fuel tank?

Hot bodies d8 tank works with slight post mods.. clunck style as well.

INTECH is working on a new tank.

almost every other brand has less volume too..
the mould of the tanks, although designed right, just cools off and shrinks more or less with surrounding temperatures at that moment they never know how much will be in there in the end |
Guys some were on this thread I thought I read something about X-ray arms will fit the BR6 .which arms fit this car ? I changed my front lower a arms twice not for crashes but they tend to bow up . Just tryna find away around the bowing arms , car runs great nothing ever breaks .
Also looking for a new set up to try . I have always ran the car 5/5/5 f/m/r Shocks outside hole on arms front / back Middle hole on front shock tower Front A arms in middle position Back A arms shims in the front Rear camber link lower hole on tower Outside hole on hub Using jq springs soft up front and mediums in back . Any ideas out there for me to try? |
