Very nice design David. I can see more shock positions and the camber link mod is supported. Can you comment on the weight of these compared to the stock AE aluminum and Carbon towers?

Also price and release timing would be nice?

Do you cover the "0" hole geometry on the rear?

I am very interested in new towers and want to reduce weight and improve geometry for both the rear camber link position and front camber link modification.

I hope he does. I have resisted upgrading to Carbon since I specifically want some changes like David implemented. I really like the performance of this vehicle with the camber link up front instead of the upper A-arm. The suspension is much more free and feels more fluid. The new Avid tower has provided proper link mounting in a very nice package.

I also feel that the "0" hole is required for this vehicle or a change like David has done with a number of positions including a lower position. With the interference with the diff case and with the recess on the shock tower. It looks like the line of positions provided in the Avid tower is moved slightly outboard which would eliminate the interference with the diff case.

If Avid doesn't launch these towers I will contact Steve at SNR for towers with custom positions.

Or just use a nut wrench to hold the nut on top of the piston with no danger of scratching the shock shafts.

Sure the Avid rear hubs do offer a lot more set-up options such that you may not need the "0"hole. I am using the Avid -1mm 1 Dot pils and at times use the "0" hole when seeking out more corner speed with stock 3 hole hubs. So I guess my questions can be reformed to "What hole positions are going to be offered in the new Avid rear tower?"

I do not have the Avid hubs but they are on my wish list. Avid is one of the companies out there that really provide upgrades that allow for increased tuning options. I have an Avid sticker on my body for sure.

I use the following Avid parts:
1) -1mm pils 1 Dot in the D-Plate
2) Rear chassis brace support

True, if you run the highest inner position on the hub tower and the #1 hole in the inner camber link position, then you're basically running the 0 hole mod linkage. I also run my hubs in the up position in the arm. Max traction.

That is strange. I wonder if this isn't the 0.5 degree AE pils which you could call 1.5 Dot since the stock ones are 1 dot. They set the rear toe to 3.5 degress if you have the arrows our. ASC89045

I have used these in the D-Plate and they work well. I prefer the Avid -1mm 1 dot bushings more.

I was curious how they came up with a 1.5 pill. I guess depending on how you install the .5 pill it would equal a 1.5 dot. Thanks for the link.
