Default Shock Ends

Hey Guys

The last three race meets I have had shock ends rip off on me I have replaced th every time can anyone help me with this????

Are you sure your getting them screwed on all the way? The tool that comes with the kit will not pinch them hard enough without help. I put a paper towel in thw tool and pinch it with a pliers.

So the weight of the arms is being supported by the droop screws? I'm just looking at the obvious first.

I was having this problem. I determined it was cause I was not bottoming out the shaft in the rod end. Since I noticed this I have not had any issues at all. I use a sharp pliers a grab the shock rod near the end so that any damage is below the spring cup.

The towers are prototypes, they have no anondizing on them, not much I can do about that. Those shots happen to be while I was testing MP9 shocks for the first time ever on my car and I went back to my AE shocks which I used to qualify with and run my main with (you can probably dig up other shots of that). The only thing they have in common with the Kyosho tower is that there is no brace at the top, after that NOTHING is the same! I took the brace out because the geometry I was after didn't need the support and I wanted less air obstruction so the body could do its work more efficiently.
