I agree in context but I like the king pin design better. I really had issues with the stock king pin screw and bushing. If you didn't use the proper amount of thread lock they will loosen up and fall out. The VCBs use a perpendicular designed set screw to hold the smooth king pins.
Has anyone replaced the king pins yet? It seems that they are designed to be replaced due to wear.

The only thing that is wrong about the Vertical blocks, is that they are not vertical. They are the same as the plastic ones, the entire hub carrier is tilted to the 16 degree caster. With the Kyosho hub (actual vertical) the hub sits perfectly straight up and down on the arm, and the spindle mounting positions are tilted to get the caster number. The kyosho setup on the front suspension is one of the few things I like about the car and wish we had. But ya essentially the "Vertical" hubs are not vertical and offer no difference to suspension geometry what so ever. There may be a difference in the steering angles, but that's about it.

When you think about it, we have the only car with this outdated design.
I'm not trying to be a downer, just seeing if anyone else agrees or thinks we can do something about it?
