Wow, really? Those are dirt cheap compared to all these $100+ digitals that everyone was recommending.

they've been in there since i got the buggy three years ago. they work great for me, and i'm used to top-dolla' super servos, and i was really amazed at how well they worked when a fellow racer recommended them. yes, they are cheap, but they are still Futabas and they work forever.
I agree with that, after a period of burning airtronics 358's and before discover ACE ones, i raced like 5 months on 3305's ... they are good enough, but not THAT good ...

Servos
You can't go past the Sanwa VRX Servos guys!
I've been running mine for 2 years in my X1-Cr's and they are bullet proof!
I run the 8kg in the Th/Br which is .07 seconds 60 degrees (faster than i can move my finger!) and the 13kg which is .10 seconds 60 degrees.
there is lots of good stuff out there but i'm just telling you guys what my experience has been with these servos that's all.
I've got some Ace 13kg ones too and they never missed a beat in my CRT!
Hey i'm looking at getting the new LX1 RTR to test it out.
They look pretty good for the money.

Just a follow up with everybody from a previous post. I got to try a 50t spur gear today. Car worked great and was always on the pipe. It definitely helped getting in and out of the corners. The only drawback I saw was that the motor was always on the pipe, which made it a little harder to drive on a slick track. Hope this helps everyone.

Had a Great 1st race day today. didnt have a chance of winning but i finished every prelim and the main. no breaks, motor still runs great, and the buggy is dirty! Got some Sun and had alot of Fun.
one think i noticed right away after the first few AirOuts, man dont touch the trigger if your ok in the air. Damn this buggy is Sensitive to thrt inputs, but that just mean i was coming off the jumps pretty well. once i quit blippin the trht/brake while airbound, i landed everthing small and Tall, the rest of the day.
i can see this being very addicting ( not the rc part, that one i already know, but the 1/8th scale buggy racing class). cant wait for next weekend to do it again!!
heres a link to a slide show of today and some from a few weeks back. you wont see any 1/8th buggys as i was racing and havnt taught me feet to zoom, point, and click yet.

prphze-Thanks for the input, i've been thinking about the 50t. I used a 12t clutch bell for a day. a little to low, so a 50 spur might be better.

Anyone ever Try installing the Hyper 8 dogbones in their Jammin?
With the Dog bone end for the pinions and the actual aluminium dog bones is there going to be any weight savings?

I have been running them for the center drivetrain, they are definitely much lighter than the stock univerals cause they are aluminum. Gives the car more snap when you release the throttle. should give better acceleration as well.
