I'm still searching for more info on anyone running a x1cr with the pbs system.plus it seems hong nor knew the problem of dust getting in the balls and made dust covers for it.Plus it would not be long that aftermarket companies will manufacture titanium pivot balls for these babies, or if any pivot ball from can fit in ?
Just an update we dont use the dust covers on the PBS. It restricts the max travel and you dont wanna trap sand inside. Thats all it does, the dust and sand gets trapped inside causing premature wear.

arghh
The best one is the 2 piece engine mount. You alighn the CB up once only then to swop bearings or bell is easy as you dont have to re-alighn it afterwards. Nice upgrade for sure.

I would say for sure the z-brace,CnC chassis braces,Shock Towers are a big part of upgrading for durability. For better track handling the Big Bore Shocks are the best upgrade you can do I think .The 1 peice motor mount is nice but not nessacarily a have to do upgrade.Ya its nice but wont help lap times.just work bench time.Hope you like your buggy as much as I like mine.

Jammin's all the way.

Looking to get into 1/8 racing this summer and the X-1 CR seems to be the best bang for the buck.. Any suggestions on what engine and pipe combo to run? And is anyone from MD on this forum? Looking for a track, I currently race elec on road so I am clueless right now where there are any tracks.. Thanks for your help.

Are you looking at the kit or an RTR?

IF you buy the kit get the FTE version.Well worth the few extra$$.

I run a Novarosi P5-x w/ JP-1(just got an 086to try) this motor hauls arse.Easy to keep a tune.

Sure there are newer buggy models out, but I like my Jammin and I know that the latest and greatest models(8,MBX-5R,& soon RC8)are not going to make me any better of driver.I ran a CRT all last summer (tough and dependable)and bought my buggy in the fall and cant wait to get into the summer race season.

Anyways xxx787- if you go Jammin, you will like it.

After fitting the Jammin PBS my X1 is like a new car. I havent lost any of the normal wrt handling reliability etc, I have only gained. It would take a lot for the the new brands to reach the X1 reputation.
I'll say it again we havent seen the best of the X1.
