Talking Roar

+1 on the pics. If anyone has pics /videos of the ceremony, It would be nice to see.

Not to mention, seeing we are not in the stone ages anymore and we have not been for some time, why haven't we seen any videos/pics of previous worlds events??

Why hasn't ROAR posted some kind of extensive collection of pics that we (the members) can see.

Not to mention, for high level ROAR events??

Wow, I just read the article on neobuggy and Kendell Bennets response and if true, what is roars problem? Ahh the mighty control factor imo. This is a hobby roar and to the drama makers! not a life or living for 90% of the racers, give me a break roar and grow up. One reason i am not a member anymore, to much drama. The exact reason I am not into sports anymore and race R/C car "toys" Now I am very competitive in nature, with just about everything. Drama is into every aspect of life and is very draining, it causes people to get out of our hobby ALOT! We have a similiar situation localy and it is stupid. IT'S A HOBBY!!! Leave the politics to the politicians. Life is great, people mess it up.

My track requires ROAR membership to race, for the insurance. Our ROAR rep is cool. So its really a non issue for me. I just renewed my membership today, so if Mr. Bennett wants to run for the job He will have my support.

You guys are getting a little ahead of yourselves, aren't you? The new ROAR president hasn't even had time to sharpen the pencils in the oval office yet, and the chair is still warm from the previous president. He needs at least 6 months to make a difference.

Another good reason for ROAR to have extra shirts at the event.

not really... I'm not at liberty to discuss this any further here, but I can say that people don't know the full story.

If Kendall runs in the future, he would likely have my vote

The rules seem fair enough. You can just sit out the opening ceremony without a penalty right?

If I forget my Roar T-shirt I get to sit in my comfy pit space and drink a tastey beverage while the others get thier pictures taken, poorly, next to ugly tropy girls.

I think I'll just chill in my pits with my beverage. Just hammer the stupid USA sign in the ground and take the picture of noone. Big deal.

Default ROAR T-Shirt Pic

Here is a pic of the drivers from the Worlds during the Opening Ceremonies.

I personally would have gone with a bright safety orange which would have made the US Stand out.

Or, in keeping with the country theme, maybe a shirt with red sleeves, blue sides and a white center with the logo in the middle.

Something more the USA colors.

This is a one time event and it's pretty major. I'd say seeing we are not talking about a ton of people going, the shirts should have cost at least $50 each and they should totally represent our country. Better Logo, brighter colored shirt, logos on the arm and full back.

IMO - The T-shirts were bland (Grey color). I won't go further than that without really putting my foot in my mouth.. I'm trying to be diplomatic here..

A multi colored shirt would have been cool. Red, White, Blue.

From the wearers right to left, red, white, blue.

What's up with the plaid Cavalerri style shorts?

Those shirts look like the freebees Amain sends. How 'bout some nice monogramed Nike Dry-fit T's. Small logo on the left side of the chest, name on back with flag on each side. $35 probally, but teams buy 'em, not the drivers right?

They'd be fighting over those.

I'd tie the bottom up Daisey Duke style, pretty sure noone would be upset about me missing pictures again after that.
