start with tires and get it right. I beams or Impacts sound like your ticket. My current set up I use. 40wt rear, 35wt front if temps are above 70+(lower shock oil by .5 if more traction is desired or by temp. Full rebound rear, half rebound front.
1.3mm piston front and rear. Rear hub inside hole, camber link out in tower-lower hole. I use this set up for all tracks, car is dialed

The reared will be stuck in the groove with the rear end set up that way. Just stay in the groove. In the loom if it's hard packed and dry it will be loose so tire choice and away bars go a long way in those conditions. I like a car a tad loose but to each his own.

Anytime you raise the rear link on the tower, it will give traction. Same with raising the hub. Try one at a time till you get what you want.

So on the Hara if I am looking for a little more rear traction I can raise the inner rear link on the tower. I run the hubs up but the buggy has been loose on our outdoor track.

For diffs, My standard is 7/7/3. Run that pretty much all the time.

7/7/3 for me also. Good corner exit on-power.

Yes and running the car a little stiffer. Try orange springs and see what you think with 3mm swat bar. Try 4k in the rear diff as well.

Orange rears with Apache Arms and Greg's 3mm sway bar really helped me outdoors.

That 3mm bar idea came from Jesse. He got me thinking on the D8 in a different light. I was always going softer for traction and that's not always the case.

Greg do you like the 1.2 in the rear over the 1.3 if a person needs more rear traction? I am running yellow rears right now with 1.3s. Buggy is running on a dry low traction surface.

Yes sir. I really like 1.2 in the rear with 30 to 32.5 losi oil. If it's very hot you may go up a bit more but I would start with 32.5.
At least try the blue rear spring. The yellow is actually a little stiffer than they blue but the blue are longer and I like the feel.
Jesse got me started running the orange back in the indoor season and the car was money. He told me outdoors, drop down a spring on the rear.
Seems good to me. Actually, the best the car has ever been.

What are some good replacement bearings for the D8? My front wheels have some play in them and I'm wondering what you guys are using. Thanks!
