Im pretty sure they are running either C-compound panther switches, or the New M3 inside jobs.

runnin rc10 is right. Get the Panther Switches in C compound. That is the best tire for that track without a doubt.

If it was legal to run pink taper pins, I would do that, but other wise your best bet is the clay switches, but make sure you get the clay compound or you will be significantly slower than everone else. I would stay away from the inside jobs, I have a pair and I was greatly disapointed with them.

And get some trinity buggy grip too, it won't make a difference immediately, but after 3-4 applications you will notice your tire is softer than before and the grip level goes up significantly.

If you are running 1/10 truck, run pink tapers all the way around, I do that at my local track and it works better than having ribs up front. Makes the steering much more consistent.

At the Midwests this past weekend we were running pink Tapers cut down to almost slicks in the morning and early afternoon then switching over to half to 3/4 tapers as the track dried. When the humidity went up track held
moisture and we went back to 1/2 cut Tapers.Frts were dremmeled down directionals with most of the tread cut on the inner 1/2 of the tire and the outer half we left 3/4 tread. Some were also running tapers on the frt that also looked to be cut down, but how much I dont know.

Aaron,

Dusted off my XX-CR to get back into off-road racing, but am out of hydra-drive oil. Is the slipper assembly off the XXX a direct swap, or can I modify the XX slipper to take two slipper pads?? Also, are the wider XXX front wheels a direct bolt on to the XX?? (I'm 200 miles away from the nearest losi parts supplier & got a big 'dunno' from them when I asked them)

Thanks

Default MF2 Body

Can you tell me if the Body that comes with the kits have the plastic film on the outside that you peel off after you paint?

capelracer - Thank you for changing your avatar...I didn't catch it, but I appreciate you changing it instead of letting it become an issue. XXX front wheels will fit the XX. The XXX dual disk slipper should be a direct replacement for the slipper and hydra-drive on the XX buggy.

http://www.teamlosi.com/ProdInfo/Fil...plodedView.pdf there is the exploded view of the BK2, which will have the slipper assembly.

svines - Losi bodies do not come with that film.

thedoc - Sounds like they got you taken care of :-) Good luck!

Bubba will have a good shot at winning....if he keeps his head off of the Anaheim stadium floor!

A 94737 is really all you need for a gas truck throttle servo. They have enough torque to clamp the brakes on, and you can't really wick the throttle open any faster, so there's no reason to run any more servo and drain the receiver pack any faster.

Aaron- Last I read you where running the Sirio green head Kania engine on your CR Pro? You said it had tons of power and was very smooth with the throttle reponce? My question is how it tuning wise? I have nitro experience, but race tuning a bigblock is new to me, just as 1/8th scale racing.... would you recommend a Nova based P5 (factory standard engine not modified) or the Sirio????
