So are they missing or simply no holes for the droop screws? I dunno, Bill must have a good reason for this. My experience has been you cannot remove the droop screws anyway b/c of wear--you cannot get a driver in the screw to remove it . . .

Understandable, but removing those droop screws things in the chassis are nothing a dremel and a standard screwdriver cant handle. The Agama I recently sold had huge gouges in the chassis from the droop screws thus causing the droop to be inconsistent... always had to check it, so I installed the RC8.2 droop screws in the arms with the nice round head and it fixed the problem. I cant wait to drop this on the track in a couple weeks!!

BTW there are no holes or anything in the BCE chassis

I had the same question about the droop screws when I ran the Losi. Bill told me they were unnecessary due to the material of the chassis. He also suggested to hit the droop screws with a Dremel to knock down the sharp edges and give them a rounded profile. The result was a chassis that wore out with tiny gouges where the droop screws hit.

There is no need for the droop screws in the chassis if you take the sharp edges off the ends of the droop screws.

I am brand new to the RC8, and I'm not gonna run the stock chassis, so performance wise I really won't be able to compare. The main reason I wanted to take the chance here was simply durability.
As far as build, I did have a few minor fitment concerns, which I have already emailed Bill, but all in all I am content. I performed the "flex" test with both chassis, and to be honest, while it did seem as though the BCE might be more rigid, I really didn't feel any huge difference.

O'donnell had those droop screws over a year ago, mugen has the same ones. if i remember right, agama does also.

anyways, got another win at a local race this past weekend with the X3 chassis. this chassis is the ticket.
