Finally had a chance to run the kyosho chassis. Ran 2 quarts in practice and...WOW!

The amount of corner speed this chassis provides is FAR better than the stock Kyosho chassis. Just had tons of grip everywhere in the corners; entry, mid and exit.

I am a believer now! If the full sponsored Kyosho guys were able to run this chassis it would be such an unfair advantage.

Bill thanks for reaching out and talking with me. You were right...period!

The BCE chassis makes the STRR evo much more consistent throughout the corners and in the bumps. The stock chassis was also very worn after just a short period 10-12 races, it needed to be replaced. Can't wait to see what happens with the guys at silverstate.

Default Silverstate

Just getting all caught up from Silver State, figured I'd give a race report:

Our main focus this weekend was doing some testing on the RC8T +3mm chassis. We got alittle help too:

I showed up friday night, signed up saturday morning, and as Jimmy Babcock said "off the truck" I was already up to speed:

Running the fastest lap in my qualifier, and a couple stops to tune my motor and I was ready for bumping. Starting in the C main.

The Ryan's trucks were really fast. Saxton said its the best Maifields truck has ever looked. Cav had the best chance at the A main win, as Maifield Flamed out before coming in for his first pitstop. They were in the top 5 fastest trucks on the track for sure, Cav just missed podium by having to make an extra pit stop. His truck got better as the race went on, and the last half of the race he was on a tear. I was pitting for him and watched him get his truck into a really good groove. It was good to see those two on the track with the RC8T chassis Bill and I had developed. Also I recommend running at least 45g of weight under the front brace flat on the chassis to get some extra weight over the front wheels. Since the truck is already under and needs weight anyways, it also helps with turn in.

I also ran the RC8.2 MX2 +5mm prototype chassis here as well, with the big ruts and rough sections, I figured it would be a good place to test it. I must say it was pretty awesome. Tq'd my first qualifier right off the bat, and went on to bump from the C main all the way to finishing 3rd in the A main with only a round of qualifying as practice. All in all some great results for the weekend, and great data collected by some of the best drivers in the world.

i have a quick question i hope can be answered. I just switched to the bce chassis on my rc8t but now am having issues with my rear center driveshaft reaching the center diff. its barely inside the outdrive. Is this normal or should I be running a different gearbox input cup in the rear? Thanks in advance for any help.
