First time out with the Agama at the weekend (also first time driving 1/8 or anything for that matter in 2 years). Some how managed to crack my rear shock tower, don't remember having any bad landings but I did get rear ended on an outlap whilst adjusting my handset

The kit has been fitted with front and rear black shock towers which seemed very different to the stock ones. I fitted a stock shocktower to the rear and kept the black shocktower up front. After a few basic setup tweaks the buggy seemed to handle very well, extremely easy to jump and the off power steering is excellent.

Shame I seem to have forgot how to tune an engine as couldn't get it running right all day. Hopefully get the engine setup before the weekend.

Is the 7221 Rear Shock Tower a wider tower, or is this for a certain vehicle that comes available in June? LOL.

Hello Guys,

Well, i received my Agama A8 EVO kit about 4 weeks ago. After building never had the chance to test it as in Bogota City (Colombia), has been raining allmost full day for the last 3 weeks (im from Chile but i got a job assignment for 18 months here).

So yesterday was very low rain and i decided to go to the track ... lol !, mud play at full !!. Here are some pics and short video of the test, so far im quite happy with the agama i was expecting a very loose car and is very well planted. I will change my setup and go for another try as soon as i have access to a dry track.

Bogota is quite a challenge as is a city located at 8.630 feet over sea level, so the engines does not perform so much.

On the video, i was making 33,7 seconds/lap with a lot of mud (500grs heavier car) and bad condition track while the track record is 32,5 so im quite happy so far, this is a small track located on a shopping mall parking lot.

As soon as i get more track time i will publish more, thanks so much to Andrew and Gene for the info and help !!

Compared to the 7221-B? Unless we are looking at something different, they are the same, the newer models just have the black towers.

Not sure. I was just going off the picture on VP Pro website. Looks like a truggy tower or wide buggy tower.

Action shot of my car this weekend. Rc Pro Rd. 1 at Hobbyplex in Omaha, NE. What a good place to race.
