By no means am i`m looking to drive traffic from rctech (not that its even possible) just a place to go to quickly find important info that we all can post and find easy.

thx guys.

It was a very fun weekend guys and Agama had a very good showing. It's a small but fun track so lap traffic plays a very big role in race finishes, qualifying times, etc. We figured out some good stuff on setup.

I'll post mine shortly and I'm sure Jason and Corey will post up soon as well.

Hope to see some of you guys soon!

Default Warehouse Raceway Setup

The Warehouse is a smaller Track than Flowood but has great traction. You need more steering at the Warehouse. Most I keep the same as it works great. I did notice Jason had a bit more corner speed than my buggy but I had zero time to make changes so we will see what his set up was for here. We pitted in my shop but I was super busy so I'm not ssure..lol.

Diffs(5/5/3) Mugen oil.

Shocks(37.5wt front/ 30wt rear) Losi Oil

Pistons 1.4/8 holes front and rear(conical)

White Springs(Blue/Red) F/R

Long Shock ends.

4th hole in on tower front and outside hole on arm.

3rd hole in on rear tower and inside hole on arm.

Stock spindle/caster blocks. Stock Hubs.

Inside hole on front camber link/Middle on tower.

zero front inserts/one ups rear antisquat, one outs rear toe.

rear camber link: Bottom hole on tower/outside hole on hub.

JC Wing.

2.3 front bar/2.4 rear bar.

Battery in rear.

Long Chassis.

long Ackerman plate.

Default Warehouse 10,000 Slam

Alan, thanks for the hospitality at your facility. Yes you were busy so we actualy didn't get that much time to hang out plus I think you were running 10 classes so you were doing a lot of driving too....lol

The Warehouse is a very proffesional and well set-up facility. Eventhough the track was on the smaller side Alan did a great job with the layout making it challenging and fun to race on.

Warehouse Raceway set-up

Diffs - 5,5,4

Shocks - 1.3x8 hole pistons (in all 4 shocks)

Shock oil - 525 (47.5 losi) Front, 500 (45 losi) rear. I use PT racing fluids.

Springs - Grey

Long shock ends

Middle hole on front tower and outter hole on arm

Middle hole on rear tower and outter hole on arm

12 degree caster blocks (stock).

+1 hubs in front and stock hubs in rear.

Outter hole on front caster block, middle on front tower.

Middle hole on rear upright, middle hole on tower.

Inserts:
front - 0 front rear, 1up front front
rear - 0 rear front, 0 rear rear

Upgrade wing

2.3 front sway bar, 2.4 rear sway bar

batter in rear

long R4 chassis

long ackerman plate (this was the difference maker as far as gaining steering. The long ackerman plate gives a lot more throw to the outter wheel wich gave the car much more steering in the sweeper and in the tight 180's)

Droop:
front - 109mm
rear - 131mm

stock body

break bias - 30% front, 70% rear

Great job guys.

I just got an update from Jeremy Kortz. He TQ'd the Tuesday Night Nationals at Hot Rod Raceway by 11 seconds! Unfortunately he got passed by World Champion Greg Degani on the last lap because a turnmarshall fell in front of him and cost him 10 seconds that lap.

But he said he put Yall's setup on, and the car was night and day difference from last week. He was .3 seconds per lap faster then anyone else there including Chad Bradley in his Mugen. Hot Rod is a small track, so that would be a second a lap on a large track. He can't wait for the Dirt Nitro Challenge next month now.

He also said there was a quad coming out of a turn and everyone else had to go wide to clear it. With his Agama A8, he could huge the pipe and still clear it. He agrees that no other car accelerates as fast as the Agama.

Question on the E and Nitro version of the buggy. For those of you that run both nitro and electric can you feel any differences with the 2 cars? Does one out perform the other other than the run time ? I am debating on selling my nitro losi truggy and go just buggy.

Jason, were you still running the bump steer the same way - with the 2mm shims on the outer knuckles?

First outing with the my new buggy and it was pretty dialed... 100% stock except the extended engine mount.....box stock setup...the only thing i noticed to me ,was that it was real loose on the rear..almost like a 2wd.... When i landed right before a corner it would was out in the rear real bad. Could that be cuase im running the servo forward and the battery? I thought it was the 5-5-3 diff setup maybe...was gonna try 5-7-3... But want to hear everyone elses opinion on it...thanks guys

First question is how did you shim the center and rear diffs? If they aren't shimmed like the guys on this thread figured out it can cause the car to feel real loose like the rear diff oil is too heavy. I can't remember how far back in the thread that talk was.

Also the box stock setup isn't ideal for our tracks. I think it's more for a good high bite track. It is agressive for sure.
