For 2 years I have raced a 1.0 Losi truggy and liked it.The end of last season I was able to run a Mugen MBX6T on a 4 man team in a 5 hour truggy enduro.It made my Losi feel like a dump truck!!I now have a 2.0 that I havent raced yet,but I am really hoping that its as nice as driving that Mugen.

man just my two sense but here it is
I was running a AE RC8B and RC8T scene like the B came out
and have just made the switch to Losi buggy and truggy
and I can say that the truggy (losi) is very easy to drive
loades of on power steering and very forgiven I have not driven
the MBx6T but the Losi is for now all they say it is and you can
get parts all most any where

Can't speak for the truggy, but i own the mugen6 buggy. I have a hard time imagining another buggy with better quality. If i were to switch it would be xray without a doubt.

They all are money pits. They all have quirks in one way or another this is just Ford vs Chevy.

Pick what you like; it's going to boil down to personal preference. Not sure about all the driving style stuff. I've been racing on and off for a little over 20 years now and I AM THE ONE who has adapted to the vehicle. There isnt a car out there that will do everything you want it to; it's always a compromise. If you want more steering, you'll give up bite out back somewhere. Want more forward bite, you'll give up something up front. There is no miracle car.

Expensive hobby, but it seems to always be weird quirks with losi cars that cost more money than needed. Diffs in 2wd electric, belts in 4wd electric and front hubs, bulkheads. Gas truck class the whole rear end would fall off while my rc10gt would fly by, now the same with replacing worn out parts on the 8. No big deal I don't buy them anymore, I do love the losi hex wrenches the best....

This is a Coke or Pepsi question. Fact they both are fast, they both steer exceptionally well. They both can be found in the WINNERS circle. It's not the car its the driver. The good drivers can win with either. Mediocre drivers always claim its the car thats holding them back. Just pick one that YOU like and have fun that is what the hobbies about.

you must know that the vette is the best bang for the buck! go with the losi i have 1 and i have yet to break anything on it ,and i dont know where the rear diff thing came into play but thats the first ive heard of it

A better car will make you a better driver with faster laptimes!! So which car is better?? Everyone wants to beat around the bush. I see alot of losi winning. And I see alot of losi DNF

i'm like you i take the vette(losi 8T 2.0) because it easy to find parts at any track,hobby store or hobby store trailer as for the diffs that easy to fix just get the alumium inserts and for bearing for the rear i switch to advid they still on point plus i hear mugen chasis not that good ,,,are they cracking?
