Well after about two solid days of building(yeah I'm a little anal with my kit builds), the car is finally together. Overall the build went pretty smooth and I'm looking forward to getting it on the track. Debut will be at the CRCRC Midwest Nitro Champs in a few weeks time. I'm very excited to be running Serpent this year!

Very nice!

Looks like a similar combo I hope to be rocking soon.
I'm looking at the Clockwork P5XLT to power mine.
I just have to try and be patient and wait for the updated kit.

Thanks, I've got the BTT in there. I haven't run a Novarossi in a few years and I'm anxious to see how these new mills run.

Looks good.

The only thing I would recommend is getting yourself some longer screws to secure the upper links to the towers and back them with a nut as well.

I guess so. Thanks man.

Things change, and I'm very happy with this change. Looking forward to the coming year.

Yeah, I actually have those on order, but thanks for the heads up. I just built it with the stock hardware in the meantime.

Jam also check your carb boot when pulling throttle if its close to you rear pad you might need to turn the carb a tad

Thanks for the heads up, it was dangerously close. Like you said, a little twist on the carb and all is well. Thanks buddy!

Man it looks like a ton of Serpents are going to be out for the Midwest race! Guess I'm gonna have to get my crap together and come up and hang with you guys! I finally got to run some nitro Saturday for the first time in many months so I'll be rusty but it will be fun!

Quick question. Will kyosho or associated shock pistons work in serpent shocks?
