I have ran 5-5-5 in nitro and 7-10-5 in ebuggy the last couple of races and really like it as well. I don't feel like I lost anything getting in the corners and really like the stability and driveability from the center off.

I have been running 5-5-2 and 5-4-2 if the track is very loose. Has been working awesome for a year now.

Yes, I typically run 5-5-3. I've tried 5-7-2, 5-7-2, 6-5-3, 5-5-2. They all have their place but I default to the 5-5-3 most. But last weekend I felt the 5-4-3 was really good for me. It's not a night and day difference but a slight change.

Took the snake out to a different style of track today. This one caters to 10th scale electric vehicles and it has mostly 180 degree off-power turns. While my setup worked great at a medium traction, flowing track it did poorly on this track using the normal lines. I finished 3rd behind guys that normally beat me but I was frustrated as a poor tire choice (yellow DD's which smoked in 5 minutes) made turning even harder. Even with that I was still ~ 1s per lap faster on a 28s track.

I stayed late and run another 10 tanks to work on the brake-early, throttle-through-turns approach. I think I have the hang of it though I'll need the option 2 steering rack if I hope to compete at this track next time.

Guys, I need your help. I've raced my 811 at three races. I'm far from a pro driver and have more than my fair share of crashes. What I need help with is fuel tanks. I'm on my 2nd tank. The one I JUST installed along with a new engine is leaking along the seam in the front of the tank. It looks like its rubbing on the back side of the steering assembly. Getting ready to order a new tank and I would like this one to last.

The first tank had the clunk come apart inside the tank, there is a jesus clip that broke inside the tank and was laying in the bottom of the tank. So I bought a new one.

Hmmm? I haven't had any trouble with my tank yet. The only thing I've had trouble with is the left rear inside bearing went. Of course it took a gallon of fuel

Well today was my first race with the snake. Coming from kyosho i didnt know what to expect. I ended up Tq both rounds and taking home the win. The car was overall pretty good. Had a couple small things but they will be worked out with time im sure. I do have a couple questions though that hopefully u guys can help with.

#1 Brakes. My car had the opt brake pill when i got it. I tried putting the 50/50 pill on as i here thats what most use but got lost in left field with adjustments and put the opt one back on. How does every setup the brakes? Where do the spacers go? I have been trying to do some research and still been lost.

#2 The drivetrain isnt very smooth. Coming from a Kyosho its hard to compare because the kyosho is so free but there has to be something i can do. Its got the v2 coupler with all the shields off the bearings. What else can be dragging so bad??

Thanks for the help guys. Any other tips and tricks feel free to tell...lol

If the kit is new less than a 1/2 gal it does need to break in a little more to loosen up. One big thing is to not sinch down the 3 retainer screws on the inside of the diff case. They need to be tightened down then backed off a 1/8th turn or so. I also run a wax lube on all the cvd's called white lightning. Also check to make sure that the brakes are not dragging. The manual calls for 19.5mm from the inside of the center diff mount to the outside head of the shoe bolt but I have been running 20mm and seemed to "free" it up a little without any ill affects. I have been running collars on the bias setup with 60 40 but have been working with the 50/50 bar and after getting use to having more front brake I am liking it more and more.
