I personally like the Option 3 (I have all 3 racks). Just a driving/setup style thing. I suggest trying them all back to back if possible to really get the feel for'em.

Same size holes as 8 just go down 2.5-5 wt initially when going from 8 to 6 hole. Mostly the number of holes changes how quickly the shock packs up. 6 holes is less overall pack than 8 with slightly heavier static dampening

So 40wt 8 hole 1.3 compared to 37.5 6 hole 1.3 is nearly (not exact) the same static dampening but 8 hole will drive the track like it has more pack.

+1

I just switched from 6 x 1.3mm to 8 x 1.3mm pistons and found exactly that. Really havn't put a lot of time on the 8 holes but so far I like it.

I was hesitant to run the 8 holes because of the increase in wt of oil. When it gets hot in the Midwest I did't want to be running 60wt, exaggeration, but yeah. I normally have oils from 40 down to 20 and just wanted to stay there abouts.

I ended up having to shorten the length of the steering link on the right side (if you're looking at the car from the front) in order to get full throw on that side. Is this a normal occurence with the set-up or does the Option Two Steering Rack solve this issue?. I have the Option Three Steering Rack on the car currently. I don't know exactly how much shorter the length of the steering linkage is on the right side of the car now, but it is considerable. I am just a little anal about having perfect measurements so this is bugging me a little (OK a LOT). So I'm just trying to find out why this is and if this is a problem that is unique to me. Thanks.
You want to shorten or lengthen the linkage between the steering servo and the servo saver until you can have even measurements on the left and right steering links.

I'm running the 6 holes with every other hole drilled to 1.6 and the rest stock.

I only have a little shake down time with 35 wt all around. Have not had enough stick time to tweak it with them really yet but like how they feel. I'll have plenty of time this weekend to do so.
