Im not trying to put the car down in anyway here, but, I saw a built car last sunday, the front end steering pivot things, they look like they dont turn enough before they hit the front uprights, has anyone noticed that, because that could serverely impede the turning ability of the buggy.

well the car appears to turn well on US style tracks, that generally have some good sharp turns, I will post my experiences in about a week

the steel parts do look good but from the pictures the molded plastic/composite parts are still a bit off, molding lines and flashings still quite visible...

Hey ShagNasty, I have just ordered the 811, should have it next week sometime. I run GO and VP PRO in my home country so it will be interesting to hear your comments. I have been a die hard X-Ray man for the last two years, but I really like the look and innovations of the 811 Cobra. It´s still very X-Ray like with all the Hudy parts and captured drive pins etc, but in my opinion they have gone to another level with some of the other features. It´s hard to beat the european engineering on either of these brands. Can't wait to get it on the track

Are the front and rear diffs spiral cut or straight cut gears?

I do, but IMO the MBX5 diffs (which were straight cut) were indestructible compared to the newer generation spiral cuts gears.

And i have been around mugens long enough to know what I'm doing. I dont (touch on wood) have any problems with my diffs. They seem to wear faster than straight cut gears, thats the real only thing i dont like about spiral cut gears.
