RB Killer 9 Shimming Question

Week two with my Killer 9, speed is right up there with the best of them. I am netting 9+ runtimes on a wide open track. I am still having a problem with the carb not returning back to a closed position even after deburring the carb slide alittle before my drill died. I will try polishing the slide again to see if it gets any better. The engine has very usuable power, it felt like I was driving a electric truggy with the smooth throttle response.
Double check the idle screw.....polish that mofo till she shines.
ive been down this road with sticky carb's before and it sucks ill tell ya that.

Thanks Integra, I did pull the idle screw. It was gouged from the carb slide, I smoothed it out with some scotchbrite between my fingers. It helped a little. I have been researching the picco carb sticky situation and see this may be a reoccuring problem. I'm going to file the carb slide slot and see if it helps.

a polishing bit on a dremel w/some compound or a big 6" polishing wheel make's quick work of little idle screw's...also check the carb body itself to make sure the bolt has not gouged the inside...you can clean that out with a rubber bit.
