Default Ran in the mud - cooked my clutch.

I had a race on wednesday and it was really muddy. My tires became caked with mud and i ended up stopping part way through the race because my clutch was slipping badly.

I have significant bluing on my clutchbell. I pulled it off and dremeled the inside of the bell with a sanding drum untll most of the aluminum came off...I also deburred my clutch shoes.

My question is will this be ok to run? The shoes do not appear to have worn too much (I'm guessing since I stopped running). I have another race tomorrow and I don't have time to order new shoes.

Thanks in advance!

The shoes and bell will be fine. The springs may be weakened quite a bit from excessive heat though.

For club racing run it. If it is an important race all clutch parts should be changed together, new bell, bearings, shoes and springs.
