The Tigre's Lair - The Sequel ...My Pit Trailer Project II
#151
I just thought the one I posted was cool because it has both a generator (which does both 120v AC and 12v DC!) and an air compressor. Will it be noisy? Hmmm... haven't heard one run, but the chances are it will. Lots of other noisy ones too, so I'm not gonna worry about it.
i have 2 honda eu2000, for a normal race i use one, if i need ac in the camper i use 2....

I have the Honda 6500 water cooled generator and it is very quiet! If I was on a budget, I would buy a loud one for 500-600 bucks and put the money in the trailer!! The Honda will last forever and is quiet but they are very proud of the at the dealer!! You are doing a great job on your trailer and most of us thank you for sharing it with us!! Many great ideas!!

I'll be starting my own "low budget" trailer build thread soon... just picked up a trailer off of Ebay. I'm not going to go for "blingdiggety" or "pimptastic" and certainly not the ultimate "blingdiggety pimptastic" just a useable pit trailer on a very low budget.
I'm also not starting with a "cargo trailer." I picked up a used fiberglass camping trailer, (16') with most of the interior already removed... $560 so far invested. I'm going to try REALLY hard to finish it out for $1000 total. (not counting the AC unit and compressor/generator.)
