I agree with the above.

I think it comes down to price you are prepared to pay, spares etc.

What is difficult to tell is how much wrenching it will need .. I do recall the Losi Street Weapon(1/10th ).. needing lots ...

The losi's are very tough once you work the little bugs out of them. and they will reward you on the track. I have to say the jammin's are very tough too, but I actually find the losi to be more durable. I ran jammin for 2 years before switching to losi and broke alot more on my jammin than I did in the past 2 years with my losi 1.0. The 2.0 is even tougher. It has a few bugs that need to be worked out of it. Like shock ends being stripped from the factory(grab an extra set when you buy the truck) and bad rear wheel bearings. You can call horizon and they will send you new parts no questions asked.

I price you pay is going to be similar. These are both high end trucks, not sure about where your at, where I am, shops here dont have the parts line for OFNA, so we have to order them all the time, for me thats a hassle.

oh you cant compare a truggy of today with a sedan of 10 years ago.....

Part availability is key, - - - - - - - OS .21 vspec - cant go wrong, easy to tune, and last

andyuk99- i hear yah on the pricing parts and parts avail. my lhs has X2 parts more ready avail. then Losi but losi vendor warehouse is only 1 day shipping to me.

JAMMINKRAZY- the bugs i hear yah but every kit has them thats how they make the money back. yah its funny my lhs is telling me to go with the X2 yah because they stock more parts then the losi but everyone here is telling me to go with the Losi. i think im just gonna get the Losi since i got my credit from AMAIN today.

token- thx for stoppin by yah the parts avail. is the key and support. engine not really sure what im gonna get yet. thx

well was talking with some folks and im just gona get the X2 and probably once i get the X2 built let my lady drive it and have her put the CRT.5 down and wanna drive the X2 so i can buy the 8T for myself. (i have two CRT.5 cause she wouldnt stoppen breaking mine so i bought her one for herself to break) Had to do alot of thinking on this one and convince myself that i need to make the lady happy first then i can play later.

Jammin X2!!!! I have no problems with mine. As long as you use quality servos and tires, with a well tuned engine, you will compete with any other truggy period!!! Jammin parts are not expensive and are very accessible. The 16mm super big bore shocks are second to none.

wheruat, I'm glad you started this thread, I have been in a large debate myself on which truggy to get 2.0 or x2. I'm currently running a x2 cr & a x1-crt. I understand the x2 crt is a far better turner then the x1crt (the x1 turns like a turd) I have so much Jammin parts and 1/2 offset prolines it makes me lean toward the x2 crt but I don't want to miss out on a 2.0 if it is faster(smoother) to drive. Also I am currently running 2 GRP.21's and GRP.28. They are excellent engines(great run time). Personaly though I don't feel the GRP.21 has enough bottom end for truggy and the GRP.28 has a butt load. Last year I ran the Jammin JPX 21 and for $225 they have a ton of bottom end for a .21

JUD- well i just purchased the X2. I know i know i said i was gona get the 8T 2.0 but i had to do some smart thinking first. Yah i have the super big bores on my CRT.5 cause i ordered the wrong ones but the work good.

tristyn- Thx for stoppin by yah im stuck but i decided to give the X2 a try first and if i dont care for the feel i will purchase the 8T 2.0 once i convince my lady to mess with the X2. yah engines engines engines to many to choice most likely gonna run the .21 ill keep yah updated.

Sorry to all the 8T2.0 PeePs but dont worry i just might get one anyways

true, but to the U.S. it's like $94 shipping. But it is fast shipping. Still a good deal.
