A couple suggestions when you get around to trying other types of cars.

1. Have a chat with the dirt oval guys. If these things really work you might be able to get a manufacturer like Custom Works or BMS to include them with their kits. That could be a nice boom to your business.

2. Don't forget the 1/8th onroad guys. I've had a few ideas for improved shock designs myself and would love to try them out.

Hey Tex, I would love to try a set. I will need a set to fit the MP9. I am always trying new things or new ideas no matter how I think they will work. I was at the March Meltdown this weekend and if these will help with landing that tripple, they must work! I am not asking for a hand out, I will more than willing to pay your retail price. LMK when you can send me some to OKC. Looking forward to trying some!!!! Thanx -Craig

I think Tex is really on to something here. His invention could be as relevant to RC as the 3-gear Stealth transmission (AE), Centax clutch (Serpent), and ball differentials (Thorp?).

These shocks are like all great inventions - simple in concept, brilliant in execution.

When you see them, you'll be like me - 'Why didn't I think of that!'.

Good luck Tex! (Although I'm sure the final product will speak for themselves...)

Will these shocks help my BCE chassis from looking like I took a Belt Sander to it?

I am interested in finding out the design behind this new shock idea.

Since the patent is pending, can't you describe how the shock is designed and how this works to our benefit on the track (not just the features).

Much thanks Tex.

Tex is a hella smart guy. He always is thinking about how he can make something better. His innovations in paintball forever changed the sport. Also, he will always help you if you need it. He has helped us out many times.

I know. This is worse than the "shock from Italy" thread. At least we got a see a fuzzy picture of a shock?

Frank this is Trevor, I know Jason Branham and Courtney Tate were running them and I am sure there were a few other Xray driver's as well running them.

I ran them also. But i had a poor showing, and should have been in sportsman not expert. My body spent more time on the track than my tires.

I see, would have been cool to know that before to watch them.

come to think of it, i shouldn't say i've had these shocks on my car. i'm an average driver and tex most likely felt sorry for me. i bet i'll hurt the value of these shocks by saying i've used them.

oh btw,,,i'll tell you what they look like......

they look like shocks!!!
