Default Advantage 1/8 scale tires, thoughts?

Anyone got opinions on the Advantage line of 1/8 scale tires? Looking for something similar to a crimefighter in M3 compound, seen a few deals out there. Curious if anyone has tried these and how well they perform?

The advantage tire ine was manufactured by DLD, I do not believe that Adnvantage racing is still around, but I am sure that you can still find advantage tires at some shops. They are a good tire.

DLD tires are being released in the U.S. by a new distributor called CB concepts. They have a thread here.

They are the same tires as the advantage line and would be your best bet to learn about the tires performance and track conditions each pattern is optimal for.

Stick with AKA's They are the best out there right now. City Blocks will be similar to Holeshots.

I never tried the tires but I have a set of Advantage wheels, I've used them at least on 3 sets of tires and no wear at all, great durability.

i have the had the blockpasses before and they were very good. they have a stiff sidewall and foam inserts. they last along time. on Carolina rc they have them cheap so i got another set of block passes, two sets of there holeshots, and one more set that looks like a K2. i like them

I have ran the Advantage/DLD tires. I really liked them. I tried the Blockpass tire, and the Hat Trick. They both worked really well. The Blockpass seemed to be a pretty good all around tire. Probably closest to a crimefighter. The Hat Tricks were probably my favorite. they seemed to be simular to a Kamodo (old style), and worked well at my local track.

The advantage wheels are awsome. I love the look of the spokes, and they are very durable. The only problem with them, compared to the other brands out now, id that they were the smaller diameter, and not the V2 size of the PL,AKA, and others of today.

Id be interested in where you found them. A Main used to carry them, but not anymore.

I will have to check out the new company. I would like to have these in my bag of tricks. AKA does ROCK though!!! They will be hard to beat.

I never heard of these.

Problem is there are so many out there it's almost a copy of each other with small changes. I'm sticking with AKA tires

Dont get me wrong.... AKA is the shiznit. Im just saying that the advantage/DLD tires were awsome when I ran them a while back. I'm going to add them back into my arsenal just to have anyways.

Before the AKA dayz, I would rather have had some of the DLD's in my bag instead of some of the others that were out at the time.

Of course I have AKA's with me at all times. There are still a couple of the newer releases I need to get.

You are correct, my bad. There's only 3 tires types so I had a 33.3% chance of being right, actually 50% because I knew they weren't like I-beams

Hi guys, We will be importing the DLD tires and distibuting them in North America.

The tires work very well, great traction and they last a long time as well.

Send me an email and I will get you all of the details about our very special INTRODUCTORY pricing.
