Got a question everyone. I am prolly done for the season, and want to totally rehaul my 8T- 2.0. Prolly been through 8 race days. Minus the diffs, which I will ask about in a min, what are the first things I should do maintenance on, minus clutch bearings, and stuff like that, that I do routine maintenance on anyway? Just looking to completely overhaul my truggy and make it a working progress for next season. Now for my question on diffs. Looking to refill diff fluid and all that. What is an all-round good set-up for diff fluid weight for all diffs? Haven't ever rebuilt them, and just wondering some opinions.
Thanks!

Chad

Go right through from front to rear check all the bearings replace as needed.
The Stock Diff fluid for the truggy is 7k front 10k center 2k rear.
I keep my diffs stock works well for me.
check all your fittings to mak sure no excess wear.
Seal up the engine (pipe included) a good coat of after run oil for the inernals
Make sure theres No fule left inyour tank and lines.
Its all pretty much common sence.

What about the two areas I haven't done anything to. The front steering linkage area where the servo saver is, and the center diff area? And also, what are some upgrades from stock parts I should look in to?

check the play in your steering rack/ackerman they develop quiet a bit of slop from now and then and really loosen up the front end. i would suggest getting a new one every so often!

on hop up parts, i have just about every hop up on my truck but MOST of it is just added 'bling, but what i would suggest you get if you havent already is the aluminium top servo saver and aluminum rear diff inserts they are 2 things definately needed!

I am itching to get a new part on my truggy but I can not decide what to get. I have an RTR 2.0 with the carbon graphite V2 tower, and all the basic upgrades to ensure that it does not break. I running stock toe plates in rear and stock hubs all the way around. I did buy the +2mm for the rear and my engine and pipe run to good for me to change. So, what should I upgrade?

Does anyone know the part number just for the flywheel?

Is there any benefit to running either the aluminum or steel flywheels? Or is it just a weight thing?

On a truggy an aluminum flywheel will be better because it will give you quicker acceleration to help spool up those big tires...

I doubt you will feel the difference on a truggy, buggy yes.

Steel flywheels on buggy and truggy here. Makes em both smoother. I have plenty of bottom end.

Both are wrong, The one in the picture is an aluminum that has been hard coated.

Yea, I was thinking about doing this one or maybe the 12* inclined spindles.
