Well hell.

I have a 250ml graduated cylinder and it measures out ok without the plug. IDK I agree at large events I think I would keep the plug in too. Not that I ever have to pass tech hahahaha.

This year at Nationals I ran my truck with the plug removed and I was fine, checked at 149cc every time I went thru tech. All tanks are a little different tho so if your at a race that is gona tech you midas well check your stuff early in the day before the race starts.

I just bought a used 8T 2.0 with the adjustable hinge pins but it did not come with any extra inserts. I read where Losi says you can get just the inserts but I can not find them anywhere. I emailed Losi support but they have not responded. Does anyone know where I can get a front and rear set?
Does anyone on here have some I could purchase?

Thanks...

LOL you keep talking about these dimensions. Same dimensions or not, the STRR and RC8T aren't a Losi 1.0.

Tebo or Maifield could win with a tyco. Does that mean we should all run tyco's?

The 2.0 IS FAR superior. Anyone that doubts that is either lying to themselves or has never driven a properly setup and tuned 2.0.;)

+1 I run lots of RC Pro events, just did one last weekend. No plug in the tank, clunk where it is supposed to be at the back of the tank, fuel line stock length and NO FUEL FILTER. Passes tech every time.

You only need the plug if you're running an inline fuel filter(useless piece of garbage).;)

That's weird... It says that the parts are in stock. Try losi parts house.
