Thumbs up

Just spoke to Horizon Hobby at 877-504-0233 about the stripped out shock cup and torn boot. They are shipping out new ones no questions asked.

Hi, what is the difference between this..

LOSA5434
LOSA5435

I run a hole year with the 1.0 and never broke anything. All the things I think that Losi has to improve in the 1.0, they did it in the 2.0, its like they read my mind... I hope the 2.0 will be as good as the 1.0 and that is much to said.

My first question was because I am afraid that my 2.0 came with the shocks broken, and I dont have any dealer near, so I am thinking to use the ones of the 1.0, but as you see have different part numbers. so??
You see I calculate that mine will arrive in the 25, and the first race is in march 7, and if something is not ok, I will not have time to fix it...adding that I have to make the break in of my nex Mach 427 ( I have to said that for 150 this is the best engine I ever see, and I run against RB, OS, Sirrio that cost 3 times more...and you cant see any difference.

Another thing is about the rear bearing insert? the fixed with some shims no? or they added the aluminium insert??

Thanks and have fun

The difference between those packages is that the one for the 2.0 has the updated spring retainer cups. They are taller so they keep the spring on better. The parts that have been broken are the ball ends, which I believe are the same as the 1.0.

as for the inserts they updated them to accept shims. so you can shim the diff. The inserts it comes with are plastic but losi has aluminum ones for the 2.0 that should be in stores soon if you wish to have the aluminum ones. note the 1.0 aluminum inserts do NOT fit the 2.0.

My box was damaged slightly, the wing mounts had pierced the top of the box, and the zip ties were broken here as well. Rear hubs have a little more play in them than I'd like, but that's probably due to being dropped 70,000 times on it's side and punted around the warehouse by some disgruntled employee.

Mine doesn't appear to be damaged. But I haven't went through it yet. But one of the seals on the box was open, and the truck wasn't zip tied down. My LHS recieved 3 of these trucks. And this was common among all three of them.

Its almost like someone went through these boxes before or after it was origninally packed up. Maybe forgot to add a part, or took a part out ??

I saw a couple of the 2.0's in action at revelation this past weekend and they were flyin. I am not a truggy guy...yet . I took a long look at the 2.0 both on and off the track and it is sweet for sure. The fact that the 2.0 is out which has driven the 1.0 price way down has peaked my interest in truggy, the 1.0 can be bought for 269.00 I may have to try it....ignorance is bliss I would not know the difference and since I drive a buggy the truggy would seem like butta I am sure. 1.0 or 2.0!
