Right now I have it on the Top shock mounting whole and the camber link on the bottom outside hole. Is this the hot setup? Or do most people like it better with only the top shock hole?

Talk to Ric Flair on Denver RC - he is running the whole set up and I think he likes it.. I did the whole set up to, but I have not drove it yet....

Is this (LOSA1749) the right part number for the 3t-3a for the 8T 2.0? Is this what many are running for better turning or something else? Thanks for the help.

V2 shock tower should add to turning, i believe.

Thanks, I will be installing the V2 today and ordering the adjustable retainer.

The v2 tower is a great upgrade but you have to use the setup that goes with it. Jamminkrazy posted his setup sheet fir the v2 tower a few pages back and I can atest that his setup works very well. I made a few tweaks for my liking, as any racer should, but I like it.

Have any of you guys that are running the new inclined spindles/carriers gone back to the stock stamped steel 3/3 rear plate.

Also are any of you planning on making the trip down here to run the AMS on June 3rd, 4th, 5th in Cullman, AL. If so I am looking forward to meeting some you, and putting faces to screen names. If not, you are gonna miss one heck of an event, I will try to post pics and video when possible.

Jason...on the car I did an A/B/A test with the rear plate (fixed) vs. the adj. inserted style. I was running the inclined front blocks as well.

Not a *huge* difference as far as the rear plate went. Felt like a very slight change, I thought for the better. But don't feel like you're "really missing out" if you don't change it. ;)

If your running the inclineds you want to stick with the standard plates and not the abjustables, something to do with roll center. Maybe someone can chime in.

Haven't heard quite what you were saying Lasher...

Shady and I were talking about the rear most toe plate. (I was anyway).

So supposedly the Rear Adjustable plates raise the hingepin mount 1mm where as the Stock Rear plate doesn't......Drake has ran the rear 1.0 tower holes to get back that roll center when he needs it.

What does the rear hub spacing effect?

Muggydude 05-18-2010 09:58 AM

Quick Q on setting camber. If I drop my truck from a foot up 4 times, and measure the angles of the wheels each time, I get different measurements. How do I set the camber?

hey guys on the RTR 2.0 is the 454 engine a good one? I've heard run times are low, but how low is low? 6 minutes, 8 minutes?
