I run the +2's just in the front. They stop the rubbing which is a huge thing for me. I don't like allowing the webbing to rub at all. It can cause the wheel to lock up, and that's not good for a consistent feeling on the track.

Not any that I have noticed. I almost feel like they give the truck a bit more steering. Could be because the wheels don't rub.

Your driving is really not that bad for just a practice run, show us a video of you during a race if you really want to know how your driving is.

Look at where the servo sits near the chassis and make sure its not rubbing against the plastic side mud guard. That contact will be enough to blow servos. I went through 5 or 6 before a Losi team driver pointed it out, since then no throttle servo issues. And the 7955, 7950 or 7940 will get the job done forever.

Heres what I ended up doing to the mud guard.

set your end points. use spacers if the book tells u to. also take notice how far away the servo is to the mud gaurds. i blew a servo and the case was up against the mud gaudrs. so with a dremel i trimed out the lip between the mounting screws where the servo sits. so far no problems. also make sure u use the rubber gromets that come with the servo.

Thanks guys, but I never had any problems with throttle ive only replaced it once only because I put my seconed BLS 352 servo in for stearing. Is it possible that my stearing servo is also rubbing the mud guard? Thanks so much guys im going to look into the spacers.

I ran the short steering ackerman this past weekend on a track that had quite a few tight corners and the truck turned much better than with the long. I used to have to do a lot of brake checking to get around tight turns, but not anymore, so if anyone wants there truck to turn better on off power and hasnt tried this I would give it a try. To me it was like night and day. And the on power steering for me was still good, and the rear end still stayed planted on straits.

Yeah Steve. I was pretty happy with it to. By the way figured out my motor today. The weather changed so drastically since I last drove the truck at NorCal that I needed to lean out the bottom a bit and the top a whole bunch. Did you have to re-tune your motor?
