HR-1320----The newest brake disc are black. If you get them you have to readjust the pads. The new disc are a little thicker.

Also, make sure your end point adjust is correct on throttle. If it's too close I have seen the truck partially engage the brakes when cornering. I guess it's from chassis flex. Just back you EPA off a few clicks and see if that helps as well.

It was the upgaded yellow front disc. I put the stock one back in and its smooth again. I measured the yellow one all the way around in multiple points and it was 3.20mm at one point down to 3.05mm at another point. Thanks guys I prolly would have wasted half my night with the front ring and pinion.

You should really consider upgrading to the new black discs. They are a huge improvement over any of the others. They are much more consistent and they absolutely never fade. Great cheap upgrade for brake performance!

1+ as someone mention if you pickup the kit and roll the front / back tires they tend to skip very inconsistent feel but after installing the new brakes (black) they don't skip a huge improvement one of the best cheapest upgrades.

I just pick up one of the origanal 2.0 truggy's. Is there anything that needs to be done to this truck, as far as mods and upgrades, or is it good to go?

Thanks

I use pledge on everything. I just the normal lemon pledge or my favorite the orange pledge. Works well to keep dust from sticking to the truck and makes clean-up easy. I use it on bodies too. Gives a nice shine.

Just the front for me. Keeps the wheel webbing from rubbing the arm. Slight increase in steering as well.

There's nothing that absolutely needs to be done with the truck. The newer 2.0t has some running updates, such as the "updated" bellcrank assembly, updated brake discs, longer screws in some areas, and I know i'm probably missing some other stuff. You could get those parts right away, but the truck is pretty decent as-is.

I'd think about max-life clutch shoes, as the stock aluminum ones wear pretty damn quick. the v2 shock tower helps a bunch on some track layouts as well. Hope that helps.

Anyone know the part # for the black brake pads.
