If longevity was an issue, it sounds to me like they were not broken in correctly. They are probably the tightest engines I have seen brand new, and because of this will wear the rod and cause undue to stress if not broken in properly. Guys around here are very bitter when my $189 motor kicks their $400 motor's ass. This is runing all stock components, non modded, and with the 0801 pipe. The popularity of them has grown around here, and once people have figured out the break in procedure (keep it hot) there hasn't been any failures.

If you get the GO junk the carb and put in something that actually tunes, like a V-spec. I got nothing good to say about the GO carbs, and I don't care to tune one EVER again.
