Guys around here are very bitter when my $189 motor kicks their $400 motor's ass. This is runing all stock components, non modded, and with the 0801 pipe. The popularity of them has grown around here, and once people have figured out the break in procedure (keep it hot) there hasn't been any failures.

I heard when they first started shipping, there was a bad batch that got shipped out. I think like 5 people at my track all got one of these same engines. I have also heard that the problem has been addressed, and is no longer an issue. I have not personally tried a GO engine, but there's tons of people who seem to love them, so that counts for something. Win with what you got, and stick to what you win with! That's my Motto

If you get the GO junk the carb and put in something that actually tunes, like a V-spec. I got nothing good to say about the GO carbs, and I don't care to tune one EVER again.
