The S3 is great for small to medium tracks and have plenty of power .

i have a s3 in my buggy and love it but i dont know if it is enough power for a truggy

Racing, bashing or both?
If you are just starting out in RC or in nitro RC, I would think the less expensive a little less powerful would be the way to go. Learn how to tune and if you mess something up it is a little cheaper. If you are racing, less power makes you learn how to be a smoother driver. You have to carry more speed in turns and over jumps. Once you master that, go to a real good .21. It will have plenty of power and excellent run time between pit stops, especially compared to a .28. Have fun! |

a JPX 21 would be an awesome choice for you...it performs better then even the most expensive offroad motors and it costs just over $200.00 ......

rb outta those 2 but I'd suggest that jpx.21 it's around the same price and it's an animal

I say Go and I will tell you why, the RB is a very nice engine, but you are comparing one brands sport engine to another brands race engine. The Go features the same components as their pure bread race engines. Usually when an italian engine brings out a sport engine they are skimping some where besides just the piston and sleeve.

im going with the go.21 3 port r-spec and what pipe with it?? And because the rb is a sport engine

Do some more research. there were a few guys at my track that tried the go engines, and they were all unhappy with the quality, and longevity of the engines. they are fast as hell and make a ton of power, but why sacrifice when you dont need to

I am surprised you did not recommend a V-Spec Jazz my man!!!:lol:
I would die before I recomend an OS to anyone, I actually may be closer to dieing than I would like, if I continue to bash OS. I've been getting hate mail from their supporters, lol |

The Go 801 pipe is the best for the 3 port but its pretty fragile, If you are looking for something good and tough I would say the dynamite hardcoated 053 for a truggy application.
