You can set up email alerts on their site and then stock up when alerted. Helps as they build up their inventory.

You can even mix them, just search for "citybeams".

crossbrace for loam. Better than beams or grids.

Have you tried gridiron’s? They shouldn’t catch ruts. Catapults or double downs might work too depending on the dirt. I have had good luck with catapults and grid irons on our local track that gets rutted.

Yes grid irons work but as the track gets a groove in certain parts around 25mins in then they are gone pretty bald, 20min finals they are awesome and can probably use them for some practice but are shot otherwise, back 8 years ago or so i used to use I beams in med(around 20c) and that would last but these days thats not suitable and made the car too hard to drive

The new P1s should be a good tire for those conditions. If you aren't locked into running AKA tires, you might try Proline Buckshots until the P1s are available.

Who has anything besides super soft in stock? I haven't been able to find any soft or soft long wear.

can someone point me to find out HOW to classify dirt ??? links and such..

I am new to dirt last season.. in stock 17.5... I am running AKA Enduro 3.....
as that is what some others are running at this track
south Texas,, outdoor... tight turns and long jumps... average lap is 50-55 seconds.. 5 minutes...
mod is doing 42's... and I have been pushed into mod..

I have been RC carpet racing since 1991... 1/12, 1/10 on-road, oval, banked oval..
also blacktop, concrete. soda pop coated concrete..even rubber on banked blacktop ( 1/4 scale )
currently Sc5m, Tekin 10.5.. I have never ran mod before..

I have downloaded several brand tire charts... no real understanding with them.
I know this is the Nitro side.. but the AKA thread is here.
Thank You for your help.

Buggy, Truggy, 1/10, 1/8? Just because Impacts are great on a 1/8 buggy doesn't mean they'll be great on 1/10 buggy...

Catapults or doubledown I guess. I would probably run fugitive light, reflex, or blockades. I know those aren’t aka though. Impacts and blockades both can catch ruts. You could try running the upper hinge pin hole in the rear hub if that is an option on your car. That will help with traction rolling.

Just post some pics of your track surfaces.

My traveling 1/8th box has:
Pink Megabytes
Soft Reflex's
Hard, Yes HARD, Gridirons.
Soft Ibeams
Soft p1's
Clay or SS Typo's

That should cover all surfaces. And it's not wasteful, because you always need tires.
