It looks awesome. Yep, now we just have to find out how they'll make it avaliable for us (either a whole new buggy, or an upgrade kit, or both?). Can't wait.

It's interesting to see that the 8ight-E seems to be using the older, non-black parts for now. I wonder if they'll change that or not.

Btw, here are much BIGGER pictures from the neobuggy.net site. They kinda linked the thumbnail pics to thmemselves, rather than the full size versions. Just had to remove the s from the image names.

Btw, is it just me or doesn't it look like the chassis is made from 3 layers sorta? A thin one on the outsides, and a thicker one inside? You can sorta see it in the 2nd and 3rd pics.
Edit: Never mind, it's just the older chassis underneath the new one for comparison. It's kinda a visual trick.

That's a glass core composite, could be an aluminum/glass/aluminum? The counter sunk holes look too well finished for it to be graphite/glass/graphite. Similar materials were common back in the Rc10 and Jrx2 days. The Jrx2 and Jrx PRO car came with a chassis of similar (graphite/glass/graphite)material before the molded tubs became common.

They have stacked the two chassis together for a compare. The old one is on the bottom. Is that what you're talking about?

That's what I thought at first and still kinda think. ...but then I remembered the JRX-PROse, when they released the composite stuff they dubbed "Stifezel" -read; stiff as hell.

You're probably right... though composite chassis would be cool - and LIGHT!

and the holes at the droop screw contact point, replaceable droop screw inserts??? So the screws won't pound the chassis???

Oh wow, yeah, you're absolutely right. Now I see it. The older chassis is underneath the new one in the 2nd/3rd pics. It shows that the rear part has been extended by a couple millimeters. Good catch.

Edit: Lol, sorry I made a mistake. It wasn't a pic of an 8ight.

Ummm...are you sure that's an 8ight? The shock towers, shocks, springs, shock caps, adjuster collars, A-arms, camber links are all different. That's just what I saw quickly. I'm not sure that's a pic of the 8ight.
