Well after my first weekend out with the SX8, I have to say it again, I'm impressed! I hit 3 different tracks, that are different in surface and the car was awesome. Can't wait to get my hands on the truggy! =)
Great to see the site up and running!

Default SX8 Takes 2nd at Wolcott Hobbies Tri-State Champs

Congrats to Binky on the great run. After leading a good portion early on, a pit miscomunication, as I understand it, relegated him to 2nd place. Still a very good showing. Here's a few pics I got of Binky and Alessi.

Binky's was hands down the fastest buggy of the day.. The prob was his damn engine wouldn't get good run time. Sorry Binky! I shoulda had you come in a lap sooner.

Well guys I can only say is, the car is good,It was a long weekend with the cash race at hobby hut on Saturday and on too Wolcott for the trophy race on Sunday.

Joe it was no big deal you are correct I need a engine that gets better fuel economy. That engine is brand new, know its on to a vspec.

Lester I love that place it is real offroad and I cant wait to get back there for the proseries.Your layouts are killer.

Joe - the only way for me to loosen up my car is with tires or moving the hubs back. My setup is on the TQ site and the only thing I've changed is I'm in the forward ackerman hole for alittle more mid steering. I was trying out some new tires thursday night and topped my fastest single lap by.2 but it was a handful to drive with the hubs back. I think it would have been better if I stuck with my usual tire combo (M3 bowfighter), not to mention I had zero brakes the first half of the main... another JR servo going in the trash.... all hitec from here on out.

Next weekend we're off to the Sweetwater Nitro Champs... sweetwaterrc.com That track is concrete and smooooooth, I've got some tire testing still to do in prep for regionals next month, and we'll see how the car is out there. I suspect about the only thing I'm going to change is limit some droop and maybe a touch heavier in the shocks so it will pop over all the jumps with ease.

Also, Any change of getting some shirts by next weekend?

Default Set up

Tony I am back I will get those shirts out tommorrow it was a very good weekend we had two cars in the A main,we finished 3rd and 9th I love racing with the guys from Canada.

Racers I am running Tonys setup and the car was very good the team had a strong showing we had 4 cars there with two in the A main and two in the Bmain.

We will be adding Mikes setup to the sight along with some other racers.I was also informed that we sighned another very good Canadan driver,he test drove our car and loved it.I will announce his name later.

Mike B and the boys in Texas did well also they attended the Texas Invataional Race.Mike finished in 3rd in the Amain we also had a strong showing from Matt and Brian who made there ways up form Houston for the race. They were both in the B in a very competive field.

Weare getting ready for our first leg of the Pro Series so if you are in Rome please come over too the trailer and see the cars.
