Hyper 9 perhaps...

Here are really good pics of the Mini. These are not the same vehicle. I think this is in fact the hyper 9 and the tilted engine will be carried through the hyper line. The mini does look sweet though and has some VERY welll thought out stuff on it. I've actually been thinking of dumping my current rides and raising a new hyper family. The whole line has alot going for it.h

For off road I feel the slanted engine is pretty much a gimmick. Not a bad thing but the advantages would be small if any. Not a knock really just, I wouldn't buy a vehicle based on that. I like other design asects of the new hyper stuff. Take a close look at the mini I linked too. It has alot of nice touches that make you go. "What took so long? That just makes sense." Look at the filter mount moled right inot the tank.

thanks for the link above for better picture of the mini st, it further proves that their is a new buggy. just compare the shock towers, the body mounts, the tires on the minny are black rimmed 1/10th buggy tires, the supposed hyper 9 has white rimmed 1/8th scale tires.

Yeah between the two. Different wing, tires, wheels, radio box, shocks, bumper, upper links and more. Not the same vehicle. The 8.5 hasn't even been out that long. The changes are too radical to be able to offer an "upgrade package". It will still be hot I bet.

I think he's talking buggy there. But yeah, competition for the .5 can only be good. Once there is 2 in that class, there will soon be 3 then 4 then.........................If the .5 stays a loner it will die like a dinasour

Thats just a bad reflection. They would not design a buggy that HAD to run a specific engine to fit. It would not make a difference any way. I wanna see better pics and info! Can't be too far off if they are starting to Hype it. Bad pun!
