Default Clutch is fubar

Second race in a row, using stock clutch assy with hard shoes, works fine in qualifiers, but seizes during the A Main. Clutch recommendations? Desert area, hybrid track.

I had this happen to me once when I didn't leave enough end play on the clutch bell. On longer runs the clutch bell would heat up and the end play would disappear and it would lock up.

The bell will not freewheel at idle or off-throttle. The shoes don't appear to be binding, I rebuilt using new shoes, springs, and bearings. It worked fine through 3 Qualifiers, but at the A main, it seized up and wouldn't break loose...to the point we had to use a screwdriver to get the bell off.

Is it the bearings siezing up or the clutch shoes getting stuck to the clutch bell?
