On Buggy I run BLS9451 in steering because it is 147 oz/in of torque and they are fast as well. I run the standard 9451 on throttle. If the servo looses power my throttle band closes it with no problems.
I run the BLS9351 for steering in my truck and am loving that servo.
No complaints on the Futaba stuff here.

Same here, no issues with the Futaba servos, but some seem to be destoying the gears in 5 minutes it seems in truggies.

I've heard that too. I have some spare gears in my box but haven't needed them yet.

I've been testing a Hobbico Digital servo that has 300+ oz of torque and it's been working very well in my ST-RR. I was worried about the speed but I don't find myself waitng for it ever. Battery life seems to be good using it too.

Yes, I have one in my truggy. It sucks when you are bycicling on two wheel and you can't counter the steering fast enough because the servo is slower. Or when you have a tight chicane and it won't turn fast enough for the second one. Other people have told me you can't tell the difference between the two also, but after running the JR .06 servos in mod buggy you can tell a difference between a 9451 and a 9351 in gas. I have ran a 9451 in truggy before as well and had no problems with not having enough torque.

7.4kg torque servo will be good for throttle? This specs is of a Sanwa Digital ERG-WZ... Can brake good?

Ok boys and girls I have my big bore shocks on the way. I dont have any kyosho shock oil on hand. I do have Associated and losi oils. Any suggestions F/R? Thanks.

i hear alot of people say that the k car works better when it is as light as posible does anyone know what mods are done to make it lighter. thanks for any help

I'm posting on this thread in hope that a buggy guy can help me.

I run an Inferno GT rally car in an on-road series that we run in the summer. After using the two-speed that the IGT comes with for a season, I'm ready to swap it out for a center diff for various reasons.

I acquired a center diff assembly and towers from an MP7.5 and they mount to the chassis just fine. The problem is that the dog bone I had is now 3mm to 4mm too short. I tried using an MP7.5 universal in place of the stock IGT dog bone which helps because at least one side (the side that attaches to the front gear box) can be fixed in place which eliminates the dog bone from falling out altogether. However, the problem is still that where the universal shaft connects to the center diff, it's just barely reaching and I fear problems.

Can anyone recommend a solution that will get me another 3-4mm? Here's what I hope will be a picture:

The new axle shafts are lightened. Also, taking off some aluminum, like the radio tray posts and the wing stay posts. I have the F, R & C lightened axles, K Factory laydown servo tray, and carbon front bulkhead brace. I am going to change the shock towers soon to carbon fiber. I would like to change out the pinions for Fioroni. Mine have some wear and the Fioroni's are a bit lighter and stronger.

I would start taking some measurements of what you're going to need. The SP2/WC usses a longer chasis and maybe one of those universals would work. I know also that the Hot Bodies Lightning ST center universals will work on the Kyosho buggy. I cant remember how those compare in length with Kyosho buggy.

i don't know why I haven't seen this thread, it's more helpful setup wise compared to the regular sp2 thread

anyway, on to my question. I just got a SP2 WC and I'm trying tochange the oil in my Big bore shocks.It calls for Kyosho 600 Wt. oil in fornt and 450 Wt. in rear.

The problem is that I have a ton of Losi and assocated oil on hand and I don't know what the Kyosho weights are as compared to Losi or associated shock Oil, some one help please.

My only guess wa 600= 60 Wt. 450 =45 Wt? That sounds wrong because 60 Wt, that's super thick!
