see to it when controls are at neutral
you really have no braking
else the buggy could dive in the air too...

You'll be amazed by how much you can control the car's attitude when in the air. Monster trucks, with their very high inertia wheels, can even do back-flips or forward flips in the air.

It's all about throttle control when in the air. Stay on the throttle, and the nose will come up (you can even land on the rear wing). Hit the brakes in the air and the nose will come down.

Yup , just like how motocross racers move their bikes in the air .

Sweet!!
I was mounting up a pair of X patterns for the 8 yesterday, and while cleaning with the acetone there was no mold release compound. It's like the tires were cleaned before shipping out.
I realize it's not that big of a deal, but with so many new comers to the hobby now-a-days that should help them out. That and if Losi keeps doing that, it should save us racers a little bit more time at the track. We all know how precious time is at the track.
Anyways, that's all.

The most important difference between the rtr and the pro kit is the chassis.

air8, the new tires might be a different compound.
Since the tires are molded without any "Release agents", what we see on our race tires is oils that release from the tires as they are molded and stored.
Different oils will mean a different color residue, or none at all on a synthetic tire, etc.
The X pattern tires look awesome!

X patters is referring to the XBT's, you are correct.
The red compounds I mounted up last month did have the brownish/yellowish color when cleaned with acetone and a cloth rag.
The X's I was cleaning yesterday were blue compound, which I assume is synthetic, and there was no brownish/yellowish color when I cleaned them. Also they didn't have the normal colored dot that Losi usually puts on the tires for easy identification.
I haven't tried these new blue compound yet so I'll see how they compare to the reds I was using. But the red X's were the tire I usually started the day with, and 95% of the time, it's the tire I'd use in the Main. I love 'em. They have been working very well for me.
