Try going down to 5k oil in the center diff and using the silver (thinner) rear swaybar or springs. Also use green/gold (maybe even softer)clutch springs if you are using the kit recomendations. On that surface you won't ever get tire spin to go away but you can make it more controllable.

I did. It wasnt that bad, it drove real good for a RTR but when I changed the clutch to a 4 shoe it was off the hook!!!

go to green and gold, or green and black springs (clutch) to make the bottom end hit softer...also, go down in rear shock oil weight..I run 32.5, but you could try 30 or 27.5 - there are no real big jumps there and the lighter oil will give you more rear traction...

You guy's see the Fironi bling on amainhobbies? There stuff looks so good. Expensive, but good. One of these day's id like to try their turbo 4 shoe sliding clutch system. Look's like it's easy to maintain and look's like itll last.

Well if they do I hope it's made out of the same material as the Proline high downforce wing. Those Losi 8 wings break way too easily in the cold indoor race season.

Nope, most of the early kits had a soft plastic in the diff cups. Lots of guys have had that happen. Mine was one if the first and the car just finished it's first gallon. The diffs still feel perfect so I have my fingers crossed. I hope my first tear down does not require 3 new diff housings.

FUnny that you mention that, I have had to re-tighten my front CVD pin twice. I was lucky to catch mine before the assembly came apart. It seems to be staying put but this has happened to LOTS of people. I think the CVD running at a constant angle makes it run relatively hot and softens the thread lock. Lots of guys put heat shrink on the outside of the collar as a safeguard for this. Losi will most likely tell you that it was not properly tightened.

This happened to the rear diff only? Are you using the stock rear plastic bearing insert's? If you are check to see if there's play in the diff case. There might have been shifting during throttle, causing binding and the flexing of the drive cup's.
