I need a good setup for my local track but its very dusty and slippery.I have tried a few things but they make little difference. The back end is coming loose on power.

Try going down to 5k oil in the center diff and using the silver (thinner) rear swaybar or springs. Also use green/gold (maybe even softer)clutch springs if you are using the kit recomendations. On that surface you won't ever get tire spin to go away but you can make it more controllable.

You guy's see the Fironi bling on amainhobbies? There stuff looks so good. Expensive, but good. One of these day's id like to try their turbo 4 shoe sliding clutch system. Look's like it's easy to maintain and look's like itll last.

Nope, most of the early kits had a soft plastic in the diff cups. Lots of guys have had that happen. Mine was one if the first and the car just finished it's first gallon. The diffs still feel perfect so I have my fingers crossed. I hope my first tear down does not require 3 new diff housings.

so how great is losi's customer service? i was running my buggy today and the drive pin to the front diff CVD somehow worked it's self loose and ended messing up the radio tray and my brakes as well as the CVD has any one else had something like this happen
#3806
FUnny that you mention that, I have had to re-tighten my front CVD pin twice. I was lucky to catch mine before the assembly came apart. It seems to be staying put but this has happened to LOTS of people. I think the CVD running at a constant angle makes it run relatively hot and softens the thread lock. Lots of guys put heat shrink on the outside of the collar as a safeguard for this. Losi will most likely tell you that it was not properly tightened.

no man your thinking of the wrong one it's the one that goes into the center diff
