Mamba????? Is this a Nitro Engine or an Electric Motor??? For a Mamba Motor is a Castle Creations Brushless Motor????

My pit buddy has this AXE Rossi Momba with about 2 to 3 gallons thru it now & it seems to be pretty good. He has had no tunning issues with it.

Speaking of Portland, I'm going to be there visiting family for a week. What shop's are the ones to check out? Whats the race seen there? I will be there the 13th threw the 20th, and I'm thinking of bringing my 8IGHT with me..

Well, had the 8ight out on the track for the 3rd time today..ran several hours with no issues. Track was big, fast, loose, with several woops, doubles, triples, and tabletops. The 40 wt with 54 pistons in front and 32.5 wt with 55 pistons in rear worked well. I experimented with the droop a bit and that made a world of difference (track was pretty rough, so I increased the downtravel some). Over all, I am now starting to realize just how fast this buggy is (and durable). I could not be happier with it (got about 1.25 gallons through the Ninja now and it is loosening up a bit....actually had to lean it down about 6 hours today throughout the day).

Has anyone tried the 3A/2T plate for the rear? I have been running the 3A/3T and went to the 3A/2T and it seem like the car was a lot easier to drive. The car seemed to rotate with ease and control. It made it a lot easier to recover as well if it did get loose. Just curious if anyone experienced the same thing or it was just a mental thing.

So I think I found what killed my Airtronics 358 throttle servo. It seems that most likely my carb was binding on itself (not the diff plate). So took it out and lubed that sucker up. Also even though there was no coil bind, I think my brake epa was set too high. I thought that it was supposed to lock up the tires from full throttle. (maybe it is, but I dont drive well like that, im not a slam and jam driver (slam brakes, jam the steering)) ;-) enough parenthesis for you guys;-) lol
This buggy is just so fun. Im glad this was my first 1/8 scale offroad purchase. The help on this forum is great too. Thanks guys for the last 70 odd pages.
